Web poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus a sum equal to the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out money even with your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
