Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players acquire five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays out money equal to your original bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
