Ah, the poker steam. If a poker gambler claims never to have peered over the shadow of an approaching tilt – they are either telling a lie or they haven’t been betting long enough. This does not imply of course that every poker player has gone on steam before, a number of players have great willpower and take their squanderings as a defeat and leave it at that. To be a powerful poker player, it is absolutely crucial to approach your wins and your defeats in a similar manner – with little emotion. You have burned eighty dollars in a hand where you were certain to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and held a ten to one advantage. And that fish! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a quintessential choice for a new gambler to begin tilting. They just lost too much $$$$ on one hand that they really should have won and they’re pissed
