Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in a wonderful game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like most other poker games that players wager against other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more skillful individuals taking their money.
A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, rookies can take their time and scheme without needing to make hasty decisions.
It is also easier to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino is dealt 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
