Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an awesome game for beginner level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the dealer, not like most other poker games that players compete against other players. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about other, more advanced people taking their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty selections.
It is also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a little bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
