Internet poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other players acquire 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure equal to the initial bet. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pays out cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
