Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in a fantastic game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like most other poker games that players compete against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their cash.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, novices can take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to bet on for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the casino is dealt seven cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
