Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about other, more experienced people taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices will be able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.
It is also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with just a little amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
